How do I find out how much your product costs?
The price varies dependant on what procedure you are having and the level of protection you choose. Go to the Aos quick quote page and select your procedure and amount of coverage you wish. The amount of coverage you select is the maximum amount of payout you could potentially receive if a negligent injury should occur during your procedure. Who can buy the PMMI?
Anyone from around the world can purchase the PMMI product as long as they are leaving their home country to have the medical and/or surgical procedure preformed.
How do I buy the GMMI product?
Email us at info@aosassurance.bb your contact information. We will have the appropriate individual contact you.
What should I do if my doctor is not listed on the AOS application drop down box?
Please email us at info@aosassurance.bb with your doctor’s contact information or bio for review. If your doctor is US board certified or an internationally equivalent, we will add your doctor to our list. You can then complete your application. In any event we will email you back and advise you of our findings.
Is my application information safely transmitted over the internet?
Yes, while completing your application, your information is being encrypted before being transmitted over the internet. We use Verisign (www.verisign.com) SSL encryption for the transmitting process.
What should I do if my medical facility is not listed on the AOS application drop down box?
Please email us at info@aosassurance.bb with your medical facility website address or contact person for our review. If your medical facility is JCI approved we will add it to our list and you can complete your application. In any event we will email you back and advise you of our findings.
How do I get my policy?
Once you apply for coverage and are approved, you will be able to login to the Aos website where you may view, download or print your policy.
What do I do if I need to change my doctor?
Please login to our website, click the substitution link and follow the instructions to make amendments to your policy.

What am I covered for?
You are covered for the following if a negligent injury should occur to you during the performance of your covered medical procedure by the medical doctor and/or staff at the medical facility listed on your policy. Damages for the following:

Out of pocket expenses

Severe disfigurement

Does my policy have a deductible?
No, you don’t have a deductible that will reduce your claim payment.
Does my policy have a coinsurance?
No, you don’t have a coinsurance deductible that will reduce your claim payment.
What is the Refundable Claims Fee?
In order for AOS to start your claim we require a claim fee of $1,000US. When your claim is approved and paid, AOS will refund your claim fee. If your claim is denied your claim fee is forfeited.

Who will handle my claim?
AOS Assurance Company Limited does not operate outside of Barbados. As such it has contracted with Crawford & Company (www.crawfordandcompany.com) to handle claims on our behalf. This will provide you with local representation to assist you in filing your claim.
How will my claims be handled?
We are endeavoring to handle your claim in accordance with the standards and customs of your home country as listed on your policy.
